Farmers and food lovers welcome to the third annual Southern Highlands Growers & Producers Long Lunch, celebrating the incredible diversity and quality of local produce. Regional Development Australia Southern Inland has consistently supported this event enabling food lovers to meet local growers, producers, wine makers, brewers, chefs, and cafe and restaurant owners and experience a menu designed by local chefs Brigid Kennedy and Nathan West using entirely local ingredients.
Be inspired by special guest Peter Andrews, regenerative farming guru, author of “Back from the Brink” and “Beyond the Brink”, and has appeared on Australian Story. Peter will be interviewed by Rob Skinner of WinZero and will share his story and vision for regenerative farming. The Southern Highlands Key Stakeholders Group, through the generous support of Destination Sydney Surrounds South and Wingecarribee Shire Council, will proudly announce and officially launch the Agribusiness & Equine Industry Development Project, including the appointment of industry activator Bridie George and equine specialist consultant Brett Parbery to support industry.
