We’ve all used Google to search for a ‘café near me’ with a reliable wi-fi connection, or specific local services in Jindabyne. As a local business owner, appearing in these search results is money in the bank.
Apart from having your website perfectly optimised so that it hopefully appears at the top of Google’s organic search results (or alternatively paying to be there with Google ads), a Google My Business listing is the only free and guaranteed way to show up on the first page of Google. Claiming and optimising your free GMB listing is the foundation of effective local SEO.
Setting up to Google My Business is easy and free… but if you want to take over the front page of Google with your local listing, you need Google My Business (plus a few extra tips and tricks I’ll be showing you).
