About the panel experts:
Peter Bahlmann, Partner, Hanson’s Lawyers holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Theology. Hanson’s is a General Practice, proud of its 40 years of providing quality legal services to its clients. Peter’s legal focus is on commercial and estate planning including expertise in Wills and Special Disability Trusts.
James Welch is a local business owner, company director, and lawyer and Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation with a sub speciality in Insolvency law at Access Law Group. His clients are businesses, individuals, and professionals, and whilst providing legal solutions across all areas of commercial law, he mainly resolves commercial disputes, workplace problems, and insolvency issues. His dispute resolution experiences enable him to review contracts, negotiate terms, and meet his client’s interests in ways that other parties (and Courts) are likely to find agreeable.
Tim Marshall, owner of Marshall Legal obtained a first-class honours degree in molecular biology from Sydney University, then went on to graduate from Sydney Law School before commencing work with leading Sydney-based patent and trade-mark firms. From 1999, Tim worked in Intellectual Property in London for legal giants such as Clifford Chance, and Herbert Smith, acting on many large ticket deals including the sale of the FOSTERS beer brand to a large English Brewer. Returning to Australia and the Illawarra in 2011 Tim established Marshall Legal, offering a full range of intellectual property services – identification and creation of IP rights, exploitation of IP rights, enforcement and defence of IP rights and “freedom to operate” and pre-application IP rights searches.
